Coming to the Victoria and Albert Museum

Craft x Tech is pleased to announce its participation in London Design Festival 2026, taking place from 12 September 2026 in London, UK.

Marking its second presentation at the Festival, Craft x Tech will showcase Craft x Tech Tokai Project, a collection of works created through collaborations between six traditional craft regions in Japan’s Tokai area and six internationally renowned designers and creators.

The exhibition will be presented at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in Kensington, London—one of the world’s leading museums of art, design, and decorative arts. The installation will be on view in The Daylit Gallery.

Now in its 24th edition, London Design Festival is one of the world’s most influential design events, bringing together designers, cultural institutions, brands, and audiences from across the globe. The 2026 edition highlights themes of international exchange, the revival of craft, and future-facing technologies. Craft x Tech Tokai Project has been selected as one of the Festival’s Special Projects.

The exhibition will remain on view beyond the Festival period and continue through 18 October 2026.
